chinese viewers are still irate over the whole "accidentally showing taiwan on stream" thing and the chinese branch of hololive is catching so much hate and criticism over coco/haato's suspensions being too "light" that it's basically a coco+rest of the world vs china ultimatum kind of thing

and, well... as seen by gura, the rest of the world is a lot more important than china. hololive cn was barely profitable as is according to artia lol. everything seems mostly amicable and they're trying to figure out what exactly to do (transfer the girls to another branch (which probably won't work that well since their families are still in china), let them go independent (possibly retaining the rights to their avatars, which hololive usually guards jealously), or graduate)
