And you so graciously concede that people should be allowed to claim asylum, but do you have the slightest clue as to how long it would take for an asylum request to be approved?

That's a real swing and a miss.

edit: Oh and of course it's no big deal if they lose the children of the asylum seeking family. In your opinion it's their fault for trying to come here.
