This is one of my personal all-time favorites. Maybe not because it's iconic, or popular, or recurring... But the love I have for Hector as a character, for Castlevania: Curse of Darkness as a game (it represented a good chunk of my late-childhood), and the overall execution of the conflict both of these characters have, are reason enough for me to give it the spotlight it deserves. The only reason I didn't put this in the finals is because someone special requested me to put their own one in the final day. Hector and Isaac used to be best friends. Both of them are humans who were recruited by Dracula to become his faithful servants, and granted them the power of summoning powerful creatures. However, once Trevor Belmont set out to defeat Lord Dracula, with the aid of the companions he met along the way, there occured a simultaneous conflict within the side of the bad ones: Hector, regretting his own evil and cruel actions against humanity, decided to quit on his summoning powers and betrayed Lord Dracula, granting Trevor the victory against him. In response, Isaac, infuriated by this, decided to falsely accuse Hector's wife, Rosaly, of witchcraft, making her burn to death at the stake.
