The notion of it being included was mostly based on people searching for "new and exciting" things to put into the contest I think. It being listed on the FF wikia (a fan curated website) was ridiculous in making it eligible. If you check a more well-known fan-curated website with arguably a more objective approach (Wikipedia), you'll notice Bravely Default is not listed under "spin-offs" on the "List of Final Fantasy video games" page. It should be banned from future use and the characters in should be removed. I'd also argue that any stats collected by the characters should be stricken from the books as well. I think nominations like these have been realized as a mistake and we shouldn't have to acknowledge it, imo. As for what to do with the extra 3 spots next year, I think the most simple answer would be to just have 28 spots instead of 25. No need to change the soft/hard boots that happened this year. It may please some people, but really, it isn't the most fair thing to do I think. 2. Use current/standard for all. No special treatment. --- :> Truly smilin' ... Copied to Clipboard! |
