Just started this today. Any tips for what I should do?
Once you have the glider, take your time to explore slowly and thoroughly. Once you've "cleared" the map, you want to have the confidence to be able to say you've actually cleared the map.
Use the map markers any time you find something you can't do because you're too weak or you need a key or whatever.
Pick up everything. All the little garbage the enemies drop will become important eventually, unless it's part of a food recipe.
Prioritize renewable activities over non-renewable activities. In particular, make sure you're spending your resin. First on ley lines at rank 8, and then on domains and world bosses once you're able.
Don't sweat having the most awesome-est 5* characters. Just learn how to swap between the people you have to produce elemental comboes.
Learn what it takes to level up your characters. At certain breakpoints (starting with level 20) you need to "ascend" your characters by spending a bunch of resources.
