oh yea also about the Skrulls......another thing I hated was
making the Skrulls good. in the comics Skrulls are usually bad. and it's just weird that the movies want them to be good guys
That's one of the best parts of the movie. It's a great swerve from what you'd expect, especially having Ben Mendelsohn playing Talos because he almost always plays villains. It'd be really boring to have two big evil alien empires in the Kree AND the Skrull. Kevin Feige has also outright stated that there are varying Skrull factions so you'll get your evil Skrulls at some point.
