tbh, these days whenever I see something is part of a series, I tend to give it a hard pass >_>

My initial resistance to it was that it kind of comes across like shitty White Wolf crossover fanfiction. Though I did try to watch the show when it was on Syfy and it didn't really grab me.

I loved the show, but it didn't exactly interest me in the books, especially when I learned they weren't much like it.
