You think things are the way they are because you have to be young to make money as a musician. I'm saying the people who influence culture are making it so that only young people go to concerts, or only young people need to grow and stretch themselves and need music, etc. Our culture is all about growing until you're 25 and then they want you to have a family and be happy with your dead end job. I see. I don't think that way, but I get what you're saying. Then again, I've literally met no one that has ever even come close to thinking you had to be under 25 to make music and money off it. Mostly, because there's hundreds, maybe even thousands of artists out there that directly contradict that. That narrative just seems obviously not true and super easy to disprove. I feel like there's music for everyone out there and if you're bitching about music it's probably because you're too lazy to dig for it yourself.
