The level design was fine. Small walkthrough areas to pace out the big battle rooms worked out pretty well IMO. The areas with the real fighting were not super confined by any stretch.

What was wrong with the upgrade system? It was simple and let you easily get what you wanted

Nearly every gun in the game had a specific purpose. Sure on easy you could carbine/shotgun everything. But on higher difficulties, the average player would need to mix it up.

You act like healing and salts were a hard thing to come across. Every area was lousy with it and Liz constantly threw you what you needed if you were in dire need.

No manual saving. Yeah kinda sucky.

Hacking minigames could have been added. Im always a fan of more minigames. But it was a take it or leave it thing for me.

Random gears were part of the fun. If you could just pick the most OP ones for every run right off the bat, it would be kinda lame. By the end of the game you had a lot to choose from and it opens things up. I could see a NG+ being a very good addition to the game, i admit. Let people have fully maxed gear and guns to just play around with.

More choices would have been nice. Like part 2 had. I think time crunch got in the way of that.
