It really just sounds kinda like you're apologizing for antifa. You make some valid points but at the end of the day, antifa groups have, on many occasions throughout all of this, targeted and terrorized regular Americans who are often times minding their own business or simply running a business. I dont care what they say their goals are. You cant just excuse this behavior by claiming they have noble goals in mind. We could indeed argue about antifa's politics but it's quite clear their goals are not simply eradicating fascism. People have eyes and can see thats just complete bullshit.

If trump has to condemn conspiracy groups by name, biden should absolutely have to condemn violent radical groups by name. The only reason he won't and isn't being forced to by establishment media is because the overwhelming majority of them are voting for him and the ones that arent definitely arent voting for trump

I won't dispute that. That's your take, you're welcome to it.

However I will leave on one last thought, since you seem to be reasonable. I'm not expecting this to change your mind, but it is something you should consider.

If the current situation as you describe it is the measure of leadership, how would Trump rate right now? Without blaming the media, without blaming a conspiracy against the right, assuming that, for a moment, the reaction, regardless of motive or politics, is a cry for help for the country on a serious issue that has been intentionally marginalized by the leadership.

To me, Trump fails this simple of tests. As a leader he let the things happen that you are opposing. Don't let someone bullshit you any other way. Leadership means taking responsibility for those under you. Even if, as some people try to spin it, the riots are due to the Democrats intentionally letting their cities run amok, Trump is the one who is ultimately responsible because he cannot manage those under him. Even Obama, for as torrential as his presidency was could occasionally make it work more or less without the entire country shitting itself for practically a whole year.

If you want to blame the left for that still, be my guest, but at the end of the day it's the guy in charge who alienated the fuck out of the people he was supposedly suppose to work with. Even if this was a concerted effort (I don't think it is personally) the fact that he can't quash it without making himself look worse is a sign of his utter failure, and the protests a measure of how much he is hurting the country.
