Additionally, gallstones don't account for elevated liver enzymes or low white cell count which is why I went to the ER in first place (at the request of my doctors). I left the hospital feeling pretty good about things but upon actually looking at the results and looking up gallstones they really didn't actually answer shit. I kind of got the impression that the ER doesn't care unless I'm going to die within a few hours so even if this is a time sensitive infection and might kill me in a few weeks if not treated now, it's not currently dire enough for them to care, but I wonder how much of that is because they looked at the wrong results making it seem like I was stable. My liver enzymes are going up quite fast too. At this rate they will be over 1000 by monday when I can see someone. It's so frustrating to me that doctors don't work weekends near here. Like, I need urgnet medical advice today, not 3 days from now and the ER doesn't do it, urgent care isn't specialized enough, and those are the only options until 3 days from now. Maybe I'll like, ask a on a medical reddit or something. Why is that my best option?
