You absolutely don't. The entire point of the church of satanism in the US is to explicitly demonstrate that point. The entire point of legalizing gay marriage, or abortion, or selling pork, any other item that is explicitly forbidden in any given religion is that you do not have to respect their beliefs if they conflict with your own. This isn't some "unfortunate byproduct" of someone not respecting someone's religion.
