It's not that bad, provided the nurse isn't too rough with the swab (which they aren't supposed to be, but not everyone can be good at their job). My girlfriend had some lingering pain and bleeding, but she's also got a persistent sinus infection that I'm guessing contributed to that. The wait to be processed and whatnot was more unpleasant than the test itself, and presumably the president wouldn't have to wait in line.
