| Noop_Noop 10/03/20 2:39:26 PM #34: | In the Mouth of Madness (1995) Do you read Sutter Cane? Unironically one of my personal favorites. Its not a overtly scary movie, its just a GOOD movie. Sam Neill put on a career best performance in my opinion. Jurgen Prochnow was pretty much the only choice for Sutter Cane as well. Hell, even Julie Carmen who i normally cant stand did a great job. This movie is basically what would have happened if Lovecraft had written screenplay. It is a twisted look into that whole universe in a way that we never really got to see before or after. It takes a very nihilistic (and almost comedic) view of sanity and general human mental fragility and i absolutely love it. I'm not listing a favorite kill here, because i dont think i have one in this movie. Ditto on the death count, although theoretically it would be around 7 billion people since we are talking about the end of the world here.
