Jason is no longer a confused and angry child who drowned and got frankenstein zombied. Now he is an actual demon and he posesses people. This movie was made after the nightmare on elm street crew got ahold of the friday the 13th IP. The writing becomes a different type of stupid, and the violence is even more over the top than it ever has been (probably because this is the first title released in the 90s). Murder pacing stays consistent with the last few films. They definitely didnt fuck it up there. Freddy grabs jasons mask at the end of the movie and pulls it down to hell. In reality he was grabbing a point off of the score because fuck yall, freddy does not have any power over my boy jason. Best kill in the movie: Shelby, with his head in the deep fryer I counted 21 kills. Solid numbers still.
