Either: a) Biden acquits himself just fine, and nobody changes their opinion at all, or b) Biden stumbles, and Trump's accusations of Biden being mentally unfit start to gain traction, or c) Trump simply devolves the whole affair into "I'm rubber, you're glue" and proceeds to hurl insults the whole time, while everyone else watches him do it In only one of those three cases will it even affect the outcome of the election. Everyone at this point is either for Trump or against Trump. Nobody is excited about both candidates and trying to choose who they like more. I would find it difficult to believe anyone dislikes both and doesn't find Trump more repugnant.
