That was my biggest concern as a Necrodancer player. On my 2nd run I best the first boss which was surprising too. Seems like the game isn't too hard at it's base and has difficulty modifier for later. I feel like I got lucky with rare abilities, which feels pretty sweet but might be a frustrating amount of RNG later on.
