I've already been playing the game on and off for a year in Early Access but now that it has reached 1.0 I thought maybe people would like to discuss it more.

This game truly is the culmination of everything Supergiant has done up to this point, refining the action gameplay of Bastion, the attack modifiers and synergies of Transistor, the lite-visual novel elements of Pyre, and the storytelling, contextual dialogue, excellent voiceover and music of all of their games up to this point. I won't be surprised to see this in many GOTY conversations come December.

As for my progress, I've reached the credit roll, but some dialogue with Hades and Persephone suggests that there may yet be something more for me to uncover in the primary narrative. Just gotta keep escaping! I think I just reached 5 Heat on the last weapon I hadn't reached that point with yet, and my highest is 8. I always pick whichever weapon gives the Darkness bonus so I've been building up relatively evenly.
