Microsoft has generally been pretty tight with Nintendo this generation, being considerably more willing than Sony to share IP's and establish cross-play. Of course, the Xbone has been pretty undeniably lagging behind the PS4, so that's probably less Microsoft actually looking for collaborative opportunities and more them not being as arrogant as companies tend to be when they're winning the console market (which we've seen with all three), and trying to make Sony's life more difficult.
