On Chapter 4, thoughts so far

Sakura - highest highs and lowest lows so far. I liked her early showing of fighting spirit but she's been on a bit of a downward spiral. I don't think she'll win Juhanor's Kamiyama bowl. Third place.

Hatsuho - genuinely likeable to me, although IMO she STILL hasn't had enough showings. Her warrior attitude is attractive, especially when contrasted against the want to be seen as feminine/lady-like. Of the three close interactions so far, I enjoyed hers the most. Strong contender for Taicho's heart.

Claris - I had higher hopes for her based on personal similarities, but unfortunately they ended with writing and books. The damning scene against her was being told not to rely on sloppy sentimentality for the play, asking for suggestions, having on her shelf cool options including a war story and Sherlock vs Arsene and immediately defaulting to romance as soon as possible. On top of that, their close encounter came off as forced and creepy. She's in fourth place.

Azami - not even an option, nothing to say. Disqualified lmao

Anastasia - She's probably tied with Hatsuho in terms of attractiveness, but so far she's been difficult to deal with on a professional level, let alone a romantic one. Things seem to be warming up between the two though. Probably second, might get to first.

Setting the romance aside, I just learned about Shadow Tokyo and I really hope the plot progresses that way.
