(Obviously this is just the result of selective news coverage, but I've spoken to a few people living outside the US for whom the US is starting to sound like a war zone). Still, there are definitely people who will go where they already have relatives, and go where they can get jobs in their field, and the US seems likely to still have plenty of both those things. --- Cats land on their feet.
