Not only have the US waged several wars in the Middle-East, they're also backing the Saudis' slaughter of Yemeni people (Muslims) and the Israeli apartheid state. China's treatment of the Uighurs is obviously horrific and repugnant but the US probably has the worst track record in the world when it comes to killing Muslims, to the point where Hollywood fetishises it. Any sympathy for the Muslims rings really fucking hollow if you pretend that the US aren't bombing Muslim civilians and actively support wealthy oil states like Saudi Arabia doing massacres and building huge luxury cities with literal slave labor Then I suppose we would have to agree to disagree, because I would consider the ways people are tortured, harvested, and killed in China to be far worse than the sheer number of those killed by the US.
