I had to check after watching this just to make sure it was real, and not some fan-made parody. I can deal with the cheap production values and all the over-the-top and unnecessary gore, but that acting thats another story. Theres not a single decent actor in this sequence, with embarrassingly delivered lines like the guy screaming No! Dont go! at around 2:30.

Then theres the character profile screens at the end where the actor playing Chris hams it up, ruining even the simple act of lighting a cigarette, the actress playing Rebecca gives a feigned smile before looking completely bored, and the guy playing Wesker. Well, okay, the guy playing Wesker is actually hilarious and easily the best part of the intro, so Ill let that one slide.

To be fair, a lot of games that tried to incorporate real actors turned out much worse than this. But this intro never comes across as more than a campy low budget horror flick.
