They spent the time we used taking Marseille and Tours to rebuild an army, this time of almost entirely crossbowmen. We are taking more casualties than before, but we constructed a 2nd citadel in the direct path of their invasion, so I'm confident we can hold the line once again. The Ottomans, meanwhile, informed us that Indonesia is plotting against us, so I have a trireme monitoring their units carefully. A war with them right now would be very problematic, as France still believes they hold the advantage and, thus, will not accept a surrender unless it is to our detriment.
