My 10/10 VN picks are:

Subarashiki Hibi: possibly one of the best things I've read in my entire life. It's a bit difficult to describe, but it is loosely based on a lot of real life stories the author gleaned off of high school students. It's extremely emotional, sometimes funny, sometimes scary, many times sad. It makes you question identity or the value of reality in the deepest way. I'll say the first chapter is a bit confusing, but it does serve as a backdrop to the characters rather than the backdrop to the story. The story picks up quick and constantly leaves you wondering. It also has my favorite character possibly of all time, which is Yuuki

999: I think this one got me into VNs in the first place. I like this one particularly because of the discussions surrounding it. I think it opened my eyes to discussion as a whole because it made me research a lot of different concepts, and the Word of God interview that happened about a year later that destroyed any doubts on various debates was a moment in my life that I found particularly memorable. But aside from the discussions, it's one that makes you constantly wonder what's actually going on, and it felt like there was a twist around literally every corner. Whether or not ZTD managed to wrap up the 999 experience for me is... questionable but I didn't mind some aspects of it. I think 999 made me severely overestimate the character of Akane, or ZTD itself simply didn't do her justice. Either way, worth reading if it means you also have to read the other 2 continuations

You and Me and Her (Totono): To say it in a way that more ppl here could understand, it's basically just a straight up better written, better conceived Doki Doki Literature Club, which I also liked but now I know Totono exists. Without saying much, this is straight up a love story, but it's also a story about sad fates. You'll feel an obsession of a character through the screen, and the entire time you can merely choose to accept it or try to break from it. All I'll say is, try literally everything you can think of because you're rewarded with interesting dialogues, and really really pay attention when you get to a certain section where you walk down a memory lane. I would say it's a bit difficult to justify not calling one of the girl the best girl because she's amazing, and by the end, you almost have to wonder if... maybe she's still watching lol. Also, the best sex scene in anything that's ever existed.
