The story and animation were even more amazing than the series itself, and Homura's journey is one of the greatest characters arcs that I've ever seen in an anime. Plus, it takes a lot of courage for a writer to completely dismantle the overall happy ending of the original story and show how truly horrible and selfish of a person Homura actually was the whole time.
