This is a problem he created for himself. He sets his own schedule. He insists on streaming six days a week. He keeps telling us he can't afford to take any time away from streaming because he's absolutely broke and needs every cent to go towards the bills. No one is forcing him to keep to that schedule, and no one is telling him he can't take an extra day off now and then.

I do think people will care if he takes a day off (because some people care about every little thing he does), but it's not a big deal. So a few people on Twitter will call him lazy or say that he must be lying about needing money if he can afford to take days off. But how is that different than the stuff people say any other day? The speculation about his apparent earache is worse than that.

One of the streamers I mod for streams six days a week, for eight hours a day (he only gets like 100-150 viewers per day). Sometimes he will mention that he needs an extra day off here and there because of lack of sleep and probably a bit of burnout. However, he doesn't spend an hour before playing talking bullshit and begging for money, so you get a lot of gameplay. If only his fans would watch an actual good streamer, they would abandon DSP in a heartbeat and he would probably fade into obscurity.
