How many bad things about Phil do we learn from second- or third-hand sources? With a lot of content creators, we'll hear negative stories from people who collaborated with them in the past, former friends, ex-girlfriends, etc. With Phil, almost every story that makes him look terrible has come directly from his own mouth. All the examples of him being racist or homophobic or generally toxic are not revealed to us by someone who used to hang around with him and wants to get even by revealing private conversations. No, all of that is right there in his own videos.
