I imagine some whale tipping $75 at the end of the stream and thinking to himself, "Fuck you, detractors! The streak lives on." And the detractors aren't mad at all; they're simply awestruck by the sheer stupidity of someone throwing that much money at a man who makes over 100 grand a year so that he will put on a vest. I think even a lot of his regular viewers must be similarly awestruck, because they aren't contributing towards the streak--why would they even consider donating when they know some whale will show up no matter what?

While I get that "sticking it" to the detractors is a thing, it literally breaks my mind that his fans do this by giving money.

YOU are out of 74 dollars, that could have been a couple of games, groceries, bills (irony), downpayments. Hell, you could set it aside for your future, maybe one day you'll have kids and setting aside money so they can go to college is even a thing.

Their dumb mentality is what makes Phil thrive. Detractors ar literally unaffected by this. They didn't lose any money, and get to see Phil dance like a monkey for money, while he stumbles through games. On top of that, Phil has a track record of insulting and ultimately throwing his fans under the bus.

The biggest winners are the detractors, and the biggest losers are his fans. Which is like a page from the book of bizzaro world or some shit.
