the funny thing is that an american battle royale film has been in an out of development for years and if it ever actually gets made now it will be seen as a ripoff lol
Yeah, it kinda sucks. Rarely do I think that foreign movies should receive an American remake when I really only the original movie.. but after watching Battle Royale I was quite eager to see what it would be like from our cultural standpoint. I pretty much forgot all about that movie until now, and it's pretty surprising that it hasn't been made yet.
