It was actually a very early troll on the Baldurs Gate II board who would shitpost about 19/2000 who unintentionally (or perhaps intentionally) got me into Gorillaz. I remember playing Turok: Rage Wars and listening to their self titled. You have good taste, Mr Maillard.

Thanks. I've been on their shit for a while, Feel Good Inc. was the jumping on point like a fuckton of people but Plastic Beach is what made me a fan. I remember trying to get On Melancholy Hill to dl on a landline connection all night, and I checked out my country's all-night music video show RAGE to see what would be playing.

The On Melancholy Hill music video was the last one they aired, at 6 in the morning, and I stayed up all night to watch it because no-one else was seeding the song on LimeWire.

Honestly, their latest project Song Machine is their best stuff since Plastic Beach if you ask me. I like The Fall, and I like some songs on Humanz and The Now Now (Humility says hi), but Song Machine has been consistently good. The first and fourth ones are hit and miss, but the other three are fan-fucking-tastic Gorillaz songs
