Assyria, for all their military might, seem to lack an understanding in basic strategy. We made allies of our neighboring city-state Kyzyl, so rather than focus all their power on one front, they split up their forces to try and hit both places at once. They've already made no headway against us and in fact have lost a bit of ground while we've yet to take any casualties, and the token force they sent to Kyzyl is already under heavy bombardment. This will only hasten their demise, though it shall still be long as they have much land.

Meanwhile, Greece is far and away the favorite to land a diplomatic victory, though we're still many turns from that as they're still quite a few votes short. But I'll have to stockpile gold again to keep them from having too many city-states; they're already fighting with us over a few key ones.
