I'm just disgusted at how counter-productive all this rioting is to any practical social justice. What does this do? Embolden Trump voters. Drives reactionaries to the polls. Democrats lose House seats, Senate seats, and SCOTUS positions as public opinion turns against social justice as it becomes more and more associated with violence. Real change becomes impossible. White Supremacists become emboldened and racist dogwhistles become the new norm. Welcome to the New America, one where we commit violence because we are unheard, and no one listens because we are committed to violence.
