TC: self defense

But none of those things stop it from being self-defense. The worst part would be him illegally carrying a weapon. However even if you're illegally carrying a weapon, if someone attacks you and you use your gun, the use of force itself might not be illegal. Only the possession of the weapon.

There are justified shootings where the person was illegally carrying the weapon.

At the end of the day you can't just attack other human beings because you feel like it.

For people who claim to care about individual lives, safety, and freedom, I would hope that would be understood.

It's not quite murder if you're aiming a pistol at me or smashing my head with a skateboard.

You can't attack someone else then play the victim.
