The thing isn't Phil being in the right, because he is. It's the way he acts like a complete fucking hypocrite. He is against cancel culture, except when it is against others. He is against the DMCA strikes, but laughs when others are affected. And even though he is right, he is poking places he shouldn't be poking.

And that was my point, all he had to do was shut the fuck up, leave well enough alone and nothing would've happened. But his ego wont let him.

I've never really seen him be against cancer culture. I've really only seen him take the subject and make it about himself and talk about how he can't be canceled. Usually when someone else is canceled he supports the cause and then starts talking about himself

I actually thought someone as dumb as Phil would have took the bait and not understood what the movie was about, but I guess I was wrong. I think the trolls and detractors are really making themselves look bad, at least to anyone that actually knows about movies. Netflix absolutely marketed the movie wrong, but it's astounding how many people don't care what the movie is really about because all they want to do is push an obviously stupid narrative that all liberals are pedophiles

I just want detractors to be better, give him shit for the plenty of stuff he actually is stupid about
