Except it's not blowing up in his face. He is genuinely in the right. The movie has nothing to do with endorsing the sexualization of minors, it's a movie that confronts reality and condemns it. Between you and lethal Affinity defending cops shooting an unarmed black man seven times in the back I'm beginning to think all of the detractors are just right wingnut jobs, which actually sways me back in Phil's corner. Why do I want to side with people that willfully ignore what a movie is really about just to push their hatred for him or subtle racists that don't care about justice?
The thing isn't Phil being in the right, because he is. It's the way he acts like a complete fucking hypocrite. He is against cancel culture, except when it is against others. He is against the DMCA strikes, but laughs when others are affected. And even though he is right, he is poking places he shouldn't be poking.

And that was my point, all he had to do was shut the fuck up, leave well enough alone and nothing would've happened. But his ego wont let him.

I am curious how I am right winged though, based on me speaking out on Phil?
