Differences too minute and numerous for hunting for a specific combination to ever be worthwhile, and possibly even too subtle to really notice unless you put them side by side, but enough to make your Pokemon look different from those of other players without having to hunt for the single rare variant that exists (and hope that they don't also hunt for the same rare variant and negate whatever uniqueness you might have earned). I could get behind that, just as a minor cosmetic thing. That would be pretty cool but sounds like an impossible amount of work unless it was automated somehow.
