I don't think I've come across a single person who was glad the Perceive mechanic was added to the series. yup! colliding posted... I actually kind of dig perceive. The "logic" behind it sucks ("oh my god, you scratched your hand! you're hiding something" is never going to hold up in any court of law, fictional or not) but I think it's a fun mechanic. I like the idea of each of the "big three" having their own stupid minigame. It's better than mood matrix. i do think it's a lot better --- yet all azuarc of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness ...
