I have yet to see the Birds of Prey movie (because I enjoyed the original Suicide Squad, and so decided to give the reboot / sequel a little space because I apparently have bad taste), but the positive buzz is encouraging. A comment from PO above piqued my curiosity, so I looked it up, and ... yes, there are Marvel superheroes called Snowflake and Safespace in a New Warriors team that has subsequently been panned. *shakes head* I mean, Marvel has introduced young heroes before (e.g. New X-Men: Academy X and Avengers: The Initiative), but they tend to never back them up, and end up killing them off (e.g. New X-Men: Childhood's End and Avengers Arena).
