I am genuinely baffled by the confusion over the terms neoliberal, neoconservative, and reactionary in this topic. They are all clearly defined terms that mean exactly what they mean. The Republicans are not more neoliberal than the Democrats, the Democratic establishment is basically a textbook example of neoliberals and has been since the Clinton administration at least. The idea that people do not know what the term means would be like claiming that roads are socialism...oh wait...yeah, nevermind, nobody has any idea what any term means.
