| Topic | Just beat DQ11 (first time): the plot is really dumb |
| Lokarin 08/13/20 8:10:44 AM #1: | Ok, it's a good dragon quest - it's a good RPG But you have no impetus as a hero to do anything other than globetrot to victory. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, since the STORY is actually pretty decent with lots of detail... and it's a rare situation where the story and plot can be considered separate qualities. ...But, I mean, if you want some RPGs that give the hero and the player the same impetus... Dragon Quest 4 as well as Lufia 2 do it the best. Anyways... It's still a good game, it's that for a 40 hour first clear it didn't seem like I actually DID much... --- "Salt cures Everything!"
