I'm living on/near steamboat island in Washington (north of Olympia, between it and Shelton). It's very isolated/country ish, deer all over the place (fawn was in our yard a few days ago). Beautiful view out my window of the hood canal, lots of green grass and trees everywhere. It's 10 minutes to the nearest place to eat/store but super expensive there (right at the entrance to the 101 freeway). Then about 10-15 minutes more to hit olympia to the south down the 101 basically. I don't like to drive, so that is a negative, but it's worth it because it's so nice here. --- Tacobot 3000 "Saving the world from not having tacos."
