Much, much earlier in this contest many were surprised to see Double Trouble do so poorly, and I admit, it was hard myself knocking a song that had such a strong nostalgia factor backing it up, but after hearing Rocket-dan Danka, the quality gap between the two is unmistakable. Even without the English voice actors I've come to know and love, RDD perfectly captures the personalities of Jessie, James and Meowth, and even squeezes in Wobbuffet's little pop-ins. The lyrics are hilarious, and the song just kinda rocks. It sounds victorious, thrilling, and just a little heavy; it's everything Team Rocket wants to be. It covers the recurring story of the team, chasing down Pikachu and ultimately "blasting off again" but never giving up.
