Few things are further from the core appeal of a super hero action game to me than a gear system (not even narratively coherent for most of the characters in the game) that involves managing at least seven difference resources. This game should have been about punching and blowing up bad guys but instead they wanted to be the next Destiny and now we have this complete mess of menus with numbers barfed all over the screen with micro-transactions, gated character exclusives and just about everything else that could be wrong with a current AAA game.
