There are intelligent people who lack credibility because they're full of shit, and some also just lack credibility in certain subjects or fields whereas they may excel in others. On the flip side of things, there can be idiots who are more credible in specific matters than someone else who might be considered a genius. An idiot can point to a sign or to the likeness between two things, and a smart person might be able to pull ideas or concepts out of their ass without evidence to back it up, no matter how much or how little it might make sense. --- ...
