i'm going to guess the ban is #metoo-related. like, the pcgamer interview went like this (heavily paraphrased):

interviewer: does the ban have to do with the conspiracy theory stuff you were talking about in your final twitch stream?
dr disrespect: no.
interviewer: does it have to do with #metoo-stuff?
dr disrespect: i don't want to talk about it.

...yeah, this doesn't look good.

edit: oh right, pcgamer. forbes didn't do an interview, though they did write about him.
