I've seen the "it goes against human nature" argument against communism (to which I assume you are referring) hundreds of times, and it never gets any less stupid. capitalism encourages people to be greedy, to exploit others. it stands to reason that more people will be greedy and exploitative than they would otherwise. it's important to remove that incentive during the transition between capitalism and communism. part of this is making sure that everyone has their basic needs met: if it's not necessary to compete against others for survival, those attitudes fall away pretty quickly
