Was cleaning and found my copy of The Halloween Tree. I've long been a Bradbury fan, I love Halloween, and I'd heard the book mentioned like it was a big deal... but it didn't grab me immediately and, when I wiki'd the details last year, it kinda looked shitty so I put aside and then it was lost in a growing pile of books and DVDs that I hadn't got around to sorting. I need to put up some extra shelving at some point, or get rid of some stuff.

At some point, I'm going to have to look around to see which short story anthologies I have sitting around; tempted to read/re-read some of them. (Not specifically Bradbury, although I think I have a Bradbury anthology or two.)

Oh, and the subject of Halloween and the earlier topic of merchandising, it looks like Sam from Trick 'r Treat is getting even *more* collectibles (unless NECA is re-releasing some). For a character from a relatively recent, lesser-known cult classic that couldn't even secure a theatrical release and whose sequel plans have always been pie in the sky, they manage to swing a lot of merch. Wouldn't mind trying to get that kind of success.

idk, it might just be a matter of it being so obvious that we *think* we must have used it before, but I can't recall it being used in the 5 or 6 years I've regularly been coming here (prior to that, my visits to PotD were too sporadic to notice). I'm sure Wave has a list of topic names, though, and he can check.
