I had nominated it just because I think it's a unique take on a "villain song", it takes a well-established villain from the past and makes her the hero instead, but that perception of her being a villain is still there and she could still be considered a villain as perceived by the other characters in the scene during the number. Yeah, don't get me wrong, I definitely get the idea of why it was nominated.
