| MrMallard 08/03/20 4:19:25 AM #19: | Yeah, this isn't news. The PS1 got 6-7 years, then another few years of support. The PS2 had 6 or so years, and another 4 years of support. The PS3 got 7 years, and support is basically over for that thing - the store is still open, but they are doing nothing with that system and there hasn't been a big PS3 release since Persona 5. The PS4 came out in 2013, and it got 7 years. PS4 games will probably still come out for another 3-4 years, the PS5 will be the main powerhouse, and then in 2026 - if the PS5 doesn't bomb horribly - there'll be a new console.
